About

Maria Oglesby (She/Her) is an illustrator and designer based in Carrboro, North Carolina. In addition to working as a freelance artist, she also works as an art teacher and college prep portfolio counselor. When she's not painting or drawing she can usually be found with her pets, Lyla, Spice, and Oberon, a good book, and whatever kittens she’s currently fostering. She studied illustration at the Art Center College of Design.     

Regarding work, she is hugely into graphic novels, fantasy, and Dungeons and Dragons (she works part time as a professional DM!), and would love to be involved in any projects relating to those subjects. She is currently actively seeking work in the comics industry and in cover illustration.
