Storytelling has always been incredibly important to me. From long interconnected games of pretend as a kid to working as a professional DM, creating stories and narrative flow has always been what I turn to and what inspires me to draw. I have a number of graphic novels I would love to work on - this is a snippet of a few of my ideas and scenes from those stories.
I started creating textiles several years ago as a way to give direction and a theme to my sketchbook paintings. I got pretty into it, and my doodles and textiles eventually led to me selling on Spoonflower.com. They’re a fun way to relax and give direction to my “for fun” projects and sketches.
This work is a mix of commissions and passion projects as well as a few pieces from my sketchbook. My aim is to show my range with the medium and the subject matter I tend to gravitate towards. The quieter moments in life, anything whimsical or fantasy related, and animals all pique my interest.
